History
GUYON was founded in 1878 and now 125 years later the corebusiness is still the same :
Mg related products. Through the years the company combined know-how with a capacity to seize strategic opportunities
to develop into a major player worldwide.
During the early 1980s the animal feed market developed enormously as a result of nutrient supplements,
and GUYON started its own formulation plant for solubles and non-solubles.
From animal feed to liquid fertilizers/trace elements was a small step, and it is for that reason that
GUYON now supplies these two markets.

GUYON developed in three major fields:
- Increase of mineral product range to supply the whole range : phosphates, copper, zinc, manganese, cobalt, iron, boric acid
- Realisation of two installations to produce liquids or suspensions for the fertilizer market as well as the
chemical market
- Logistic perfection in order to meet growing customer needs : Warehouses, sieving, handling, blending, rebagging, reconditioning (liquid/solids) installations.
To optimise customer services, GUYON acquired transport company SAFA and founded handling company GEPS.
